I have done it! Making my first video!

Well there you go an old dog can learn new tricks! I am not professing to be an expert at the moment, however I am very proud of my accomplishment making this video.

The entire process of learning how to make a video and then uploading it to Youtube has been daunting and terrifying to say the least. I have been forced to reflect just how the students I will teach one day (if I finish my degree before retirement age!) may feel in similar scenarios when they are asked to produce something unfamiliar and new.

Being in this position myself will hopefully develop in me the empathy and patience needed to scaffold the learning of my future students. No matter what our age we are all on a learning journey. When this journey is traveled alongside a community that desires to build each-other up, learning new and terrifying things can be accomplished, and dare I say even become enjoyable!
